Thank you for visiting my web site.  I am very interested in working with parents and individuals who are looking for an alternative to traditional mental health counseling.  I have office space in the Village of Hamburg and have interest in working with groups in the Town of Hamburg . Individual sessions are scheduled either in person or by telephone.

 

Here is some basic information.  I am a licensed registered nurse, a qualified health care practitioner with national board certification in psychiatric and mental health nursing. I have 36 years experience working with and advocating for families and individuals. I’m also a Brennan Healing Science Practitioner and a facilitator of Hellinger’s family constellation/systems approach to working with complex family issues.  This work is done in a strength based, positive manner including ALL.

 

As a qualified health care professional, I do not medically diagnose or prescribe treatment.   I encourage individuals to maintain connection with their primary care physician and/or other members of their health care team.

 

With individual sessions, I work in a collaborative manner, in partnership with people. Together, we explore areas that influence life, work and health, such as health history, life stressors, belief systems, and attitudes.  Family and childhood history, plus relationships are included. Sharing is always kept confidential.

 

I have received 4 years of advanced energy healing training at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Science, an international college. In addition I have training in family systems work directly from Bert Hellinger and from the Hellinger Institute of Western Pennsylvania.

 

This type of mental health care and family systems work is facilitated while having a conversation, using a person’s own inner guidance system and offering healing responses to various life challenges. This helps ease suffering and shift unhealthy patterns.

 

I offer my assistance to parents and individuals who are looking for support and a new way of looking at complex situations.  My fees are negotiable.  I do not accept insurance payment. There is an out of network clause that most insurance carries have that allow for billing for health counselling from someone out of the insurance network. I can provide a receipt for a person to submit for this reimbursement if they choose to do so.
